Book cover reveal, moving to substack (you want in?), 5 years sober

Hello all!

First, the Beatrix newsletter has moved to substack. I love substack. On here I can host podcast episodes, write blog posts that go straight to your email, stuff such as.

Count on relevant life musings about topics such as: nervous system health, attachment and relationships, art and creativity, spirituality, entrepreneurship, developmental trauma resolution, and sobriety. Plus, ways to work with me.

This is your chance to opt out of the Beatrix Newsletter if you are not into it as this is a NEW project. I will write (mostly) every Monday. But some weeks, I will skip because I will be swimming in a lake and or learning a dance routine to Partition by Beyonce on youtube or hosting one of my bffl at my house and making them extensive meals.

The greatest biggest exciting news is that Can You Turn The Lights Off? is coming to you in summer of 2022. Pre-order link for my 2nd book but very first memoir will be sent in the upcoming weeks. I am so jazzed about it - I want to share the cover with you. Here it is. It is made by one of my dear friends Louise Androlia. I highly recommend working with her for any of your art needs.

It’s a rose wallpaper with a sticky note on it. I am so swoon about it for real.

In other news I will be 5 years sober on Saturday. I stopped taking Ativan and nearly died but stayed alive to write this book and also to have fun and connect and feel grass underneath my feet. It was worth it.

May we all have the internal and external resources to get sober and to stay sober. And if we don’t have them yet, may they appear if we want them.
