On ways to let go
Ritual in community is fun and powerful:: ORIGINALLY PUBLISHED On OCTOBER 31st 2022
The season of letting go is upon us. Samhain this year feels like the most potent time to identify what we want to purge, release, change, part ways with.
And then the weeks until Yule (when we will have the light is coming back event), are there to help us integrate, hold space for the changes, the purge and the release.
Most of my clients are naturally leaning toward grief work, changing up their businesses in huge ways, making room for their creative practice, ending relationships or shifting roles in their lives.
There are different ways to let go.
We can let go physically…
We can clean and purge our homes of belongings and souvenirs that we do not want to carry with us, we can clean and maintain our cars, we can discharge stress responses from our bodies
We can let go emotionally…
We can make art and do the grief recovery process and write timelines and significant emotional statements and completion letters
We can let go spiritually…
We can do energy clearing, clear our chakras, cut the cords, get a removal of entity or curses or hexes done…
We can let go digitally…
We can unfollow, we can deactivate, we can delete, we can move things onto the hard drive or the cloud and organize.
I invite you to come identify what is working for you and what is not working for you. And I invite you to come make a plan about how you’re going to release what is not working for you in the upcoming weeks, and remove what is in the way of your vitality in your life.
You deserve to be healthy and well and also feel safe.
Tomorrow, from 2pm to 4 pm, we will be looking at what you want to keep, and what you want to let go (and how you want to let go), and maybe even what you want to start making room to bring in.
Everyone is welcomed. Bring your mom, your best friend, your girlfriend, your dog.
You can sign up for Samhain here.
And for Samhain and the Light is Coming Back event here.
There will be a recording to both events if you cannot make it live.
Samhain is on November 1st from 2-4 pm eastern time.
The Light Is Coming Back is on December 28th from 2-4 pm eastern time.
EDIT: The light is coming back event will be held on December 21st 2-4 pm eastern.
Start the new cycle with intention and ritual and community and nervous system health. See you then!
And yes, there will be a playlist. I am experiencing a renewal of being in zolita nation and I am currently trying to figure out how to fit in I f*cking love you in the playlist.
If you sign up before tomorrow, you can send me an email message with special song requests for the playlist.
I have also been struck by the muse and I have been writing a poetry book, or putting together a poetry book, for the last week or so that I am at the minute thinking of calling You Make Me Cry Like A Sunset. And I am listening to a lot of hozier too.
